We are a group of backyard organic gardeners who enjoy sharing our excess produce, knowledge and gardening stories with one another.
The founding members of RIPE Arcadia-Temple City originally were members of RIPE Altadena, but felt that we wanted to meet and expand membership in our local community. There were enough of us living in this area, and enough interest that we started our own chapter of RIPE. Some of us have been gathering together for over 3 years, some are new.
We welcome all who have a bounty to share.

By joining with our neighbors we have found a wonderful connection to others, fresh picked organic fruits and vegetables and a plethora of resources for countless gardening issues.
We also occasionally hold classes that are beneficial for our members, such as seed saving, jam making, and gardening techniques.

We meet monthly to exchange our backyard excess, and also offer produce via email between the swap times.
Typically, offers of produce are free.
